Day 12 Good Bye China

A very eventful day today. Jim went to Tiananamen Square and The Forbidden City. Today Jasmine became a Canadian citizen (yeah), and then we all went to our Good Bye China party. Jasmine loved watching the magician. Yulin gave them a scroll written with their Chinese name and we had a good bye cake. Tomorrow we leave for Canada around 7 pm and home on Saturday. What a journey this has been. A huge thanks and a hug to Maria and baby Ian for posting our updates and pictures. Forever grateful. We will see you all soon and want to thank you for following our blog and sharing this wonderful dream come true for us. Can't wait to read all of the comments we hear are posted to our blog. This story will be a part of Jasmines life book and you will all be part of her "Forever Family". We're bringing her home!

Janice & Jim,
Thank you for including us in your journey to becoming parents of your beautiful daughter. While cooking supper, my husband has routinely asked “How’s the baby doing?” and we sit and look at your blog updates. Your entries have been warm, beautiful and touch our hearts.
Welcome to our world little one… we are so glad you have come.
We can’t wait to meet you in person.

Hey baby Jasmine, welcome to Canada! It is very snowy here right now, but I bet you will love it. I cannot wait for you and mommy and daddy to get home to Newfoundland. Auntie Maria has been so good to keep us updated about China, and getting to see your beautiful face before you are even here has been so exciting.
Hugs and kisses from Auntie Cindy, see you soon!

Each time I looked on the blog i would smile, cry and get goose bumps viewing the beautiful pictures of you and the amazing country where you were born. To say we cant wait to meet you, is an understatement.

Congratulations Janice (& Jim), I was just on the phone with my sister Eveyln who lives in Pasadena and she knows Sharron from when her and I hung out years ago. She told me about your blog and gave me the address - she also told me about your incredible journey to pick up Jasmine. What a beautiful little girl - like Evelyn said to me "she's looks just like a little china doll"!!! I am so happy for you and that after all these years you finally had your dream come true. Congrats and hugs & kisses. Patti Scott (Hoyles) xxxxxoooo
